On the PC where the app is blocked get the MD5 hash with the following commandlet.  Copy the hash and save it for pasting into Watchguard Cloud.
Get-FileHash -Path "C:\path\to\your\file.txt" -Algorithm MD5
  • Log into https://usa.cloud.watchguard.com
  • Click the tenant who needs the app added
  • Click Settings > Authorized software
  • Click the Policy > + Authorized program (create a new policy if one isn't created.  The default doesn't allow editing._
  • Type the name of the App
  • Paste the MD5 hash given by the PowerShell script > press enter
  • Click Authorize
  • Click Save at the top right
  • On the computer needing the app: right-click on Watchguard EDPR running in the taskbar and choose Sync

    After receiving the notification that settings have sync'd install the app that was blocked.  If the app was already installed, install it again now that the app is allowed.
